Awesome! I watched this in Richmond, VA in the early to mid 1960s.
There is another b&w animated commercial, with Valleydale pigs playing football, with female pig cheerleaders. I can hear parts of it, … “and as the team comes out, the crowd starts to shout…da da da something …give their all for Valleydale. Valleydale hot dogs. Valleydale weiners. Ham and lunch meats Valleydale. Hooray for Valleydale, etc.”
I’d love to see the Valleydale pig football ad, from the same period. Memories!

I remember this one. There were several versions, including a color one, but this is the one I remember best. Gotta love pigs that will gladly do commercials for pork products. No loyalty to their own kind. LOL.

Oh Goodness! I had an urge to Google Valleydale. I grew up in the South…and watched this commercial, in color I believe, so often as a kid and always have had this song in my head. It’s here! How did you get it???

Thanks for that. When my family relocated to South Carolina, a 30-second version of this spot was being reused for a Valleydale anniversary promotion, and we we all singing the tune in the car! This was about 1985 or so.
